Danielle Wilborn is a 20’s something semi-recent graduate from Indiana University South Bend with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, with a concentration in Photography and a Minor in Art History. She originally learned photography from her Grandfather, Albert Tengelitsch, from whom she also inherited the name of Alten Studio.
Danielle has been heavily involved in the regional arts world for several years and is highly active in several local organizations, including Northern Indiana Artists, Inc., Buchanan Art Center, and Michiana Gem and Mineral Society.
Most of Danielle’s landscape photographs are taken on travels around the United States. She has visited 39 states and 11 countries in North America and Europe.
Her landscape photograph, “Road to Nowhere” was awarded Best of Show during the 2009 IUSB Student and Faculty Exhibition, and during 2010 her series, “Day and Night” was featured in an exhibit in the Schurtz Library. Danielle’s BFA series was shown at the South Bend Museum of Art, and her image, “Battel Park Collage” from the series, was accepted into the 2011 Elkhart Regional Juried Exhibition. Buchanan Art Center hosted a solo exhibition of Danielle’s landscapes in 2014. Her work has been shown in numerous group exhibitions and resides in several private collections.
